Leslee Wilburn

Leslee Wilburn, a 48-year-old Las Vegas native, is a mother of three and a proud GiGi of two. Born on June 23, 1977, Leslee was introduced to the spirit of entrepreneurship at a young age. As a child, she cheered for Pop Warner Football and grew up in the Gerson area before later moving to Summerlin.

Leslee attended Bonanza High School, graduating in 1995. Shortly after, she joined the U.S. Navy in 1996, where she served eight years as a Hospital Corpsman. Her time in the military laid a strong foundation of discipline, service, and leadership that would shape her future career paths.

After returning home, Leslee began her career as a massage therapist in 2005. She worked in several prominent Las Vegas spas, including the Golden Nugget, Green Valley Ranch, Trump Towers, Treasure Island, the World Series of Poker at the Rio, and later helped open the Spa at Aria.

A serial entrepreneur at heart, Leslee was raised in a family that knew nothing but the life of business ownership. In 2010, she opened the first and only family massage practice in Las Vegas, ILAN Massage Studio, specializing in all modalities for clients of all ages. The business expanded to multiple locations and introduced cannabis massage to the Las Vegas Valley.

More than 20 years later, Leslee continues to practice massage therapy and maintains a large and loyal clientele that includes celebrities and professional athletes. Her entrepreneurial ventures extend beyond massage and include involvement in several MLM companies, fashion sales, and becoming a published author in 2017 with her children’s comedy book, Bubba’s On Restriction.

In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Leslee took over her grandfather’s historic business, Sight & Sound Music Center. A staple in the West Side of Las Vegas since 1958, she proudly continued the family legacy. She later expanded the brand by opening Sight & Sound Candy and More, which was eventually rebranded as Sight & Sound Event Center before closing in October 2024.

On October 11, 2023, Leslee became a licensed life insurance agent, adding yet another role to her already impressive portfolio. Despite wearing many hats, she remains deeply rooted in her community as a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church, where she also sings in the choir.

Outside of work, Leslee enjoys life with her family, interior design, wine, movies, comedy, live music, dancing, and listening to and singing gospel and R&B. A natural-born hustler with a heart for service, she is passionate about giving back to her community.

Her dedication and impact have earned her the honors of Small Business Owner of the Year and Best Small Business of the Year for 2024.
